Foodie Friday: Chocolate Honeycomb fridge cake





Phil asked me to make this after we saw it on Baking Mad with Eric Landlard. Disgustingly unhealthy, its very sweet but very nice!
I didn't follow the exact recipe as i felt it would be too sickly for me but for those with a stronger stomach you can see the original recipe here.


  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 3tbsp golden syrup
  • 200g digestives, crushed
  • 200g malteasers, chopped

Line a tin with greaseproof paper. 
Melt the chocolate, butter and syrup together in a pan(you don't need to use a bain marie), once melted add the crushed digestives and malteasers. Stir together and pur into the lined tin. 
Leave to set(i left mine overnight). 
I found it better to get a couple of bits from the fridge about 20-30 minutes before eating so it softened a little.
