Sea Life Centre, Scarborough

When we went to Haven we weren't able to check in until 4pm so we went to the Sea Life Centre in Scarborough. I've been before years ago but it was much more fun with Seb in tow, he adored the penguins and the seals whereas i loved the rays and the turtles.

So weird with their faces!

The seals were such show offs posing for pictures!
I am a little freaked out by the Octopus!
We were there for about 2 hours and Seb did get bored at the end but all in all it was a good afternoon.
The only bug bear i had with this was the cost, it was £15 for anyone over 15, and i think £11ish for those ages 3-15 which i feel makes it an expensive afternoon out as you couldn't really spend all day there. However you can often find 2 for 1 vouchers, but as we only decided to go at the last minute we didn't have any.
They did have a reasonably priced gift shop and also a large cafe inside(though we chose to eat at a nearby pub instead).

Have you been to the Sea Life Centre? What did your little one think?
