I've not done a foodie Friday post for a few weeks, but now I'm back into the swing of things, cooking is on the agenda again.
Toad in the hole is one of my favourites and it is perfect at this time of year. This will serve 4 people.
125g self raising flour
Sausages-i like to use 'posh' sausages these ones were Pork and Apple
Preheat your oven to 200C.
Pop the butter into a roasting dish and add the sausages, then pop into the oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes get the sausages out, arrange them so that it will be easy to serve, and then pour over the batter.
Pop back into the oven for around 25-30 minutes when has risen and has a nice colour.
I served ours with cheesy mash and veg.
