Last weekend we made Pork and Apple burgers. I 've always used beef mince when making burgers before but we fancied a change and pork mince was on offer on Ocado!
They turned out really well and as we knew what went into them even Seb had one and he ate the lot.
250g of pork mince
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 apple, peeled then grated
1 beaten egg, to bind
All of the above was put into a bowl and mixed well. Then we moulded it into burgers.
They were fried in a little oil on a medium heat until cooked through(obviously it will depend how big your burgers are!).
We had ours in buns with cheese on top but i do think they'd be nice with cheese slices put into the middle before cooking so it'd be all melty inside so we're going to try that next time.
