Messy Monday #2

It's Messy Monday time again, where i invite you all to link up your messy and sensory play posts.
Firstly i want to say a huge thank you to those who linked up last week, i really enjoyed reading your posts.

This week we had some sensory glow in the dark fun. I've been meaning to do this for ages after we had a glowstick party last year but finally got my bum into gear when i realised the nights would be too light to do it soon.
I used some rice that i had dyed before and mixed in glow in the dark paint and left it to dry in the sand and water table. I added in glow in the dark stars and also some glow sticks.
We waited for it to get dark, turned off all the lights and closed the blinds and we had a glowy sensory table. Unfortunately i had to use a flash to get any photos of the boys playing, as without flash you just get glowy lights.

With a flash the table looked like this
And without the flash
We used the glow sticks to make letters and shapes
Alex was transfixed by the glow sticks and he was desperate to join in so even he had a lovely sensory experience, feeling the rice and watching and waving glowsticks around.
So now it's your turn to add your links below

All i ask is that you link back to my blog or display the Messy Monday badge(in my sidebar) on your post, and please try to visit the others who join in.

If you tweet me @sebsmummy with a link to your post, i will retweet :)
