The latest breakfast craze is Overnight Oats.
An easy summer alternative to porridge, i thought these would be perfect for the boys to have while the weather is so warm.
You can play around with these as much as you like but for a basic mix you need
1/2 a cup of porridge oats
1/2 a cup of milk
1/ 2 cup of natural yogurt
Simply mix together and pop(covered) in the fridge overnight. The oats soak up the moisture overnight.
For the boys i tend to use less porridge oats and milk as they prefer it that way, so really you can do as you please. I love that you make these the night before, it saves so much time and stress in the morning!
The possibilities are endless, you can change it around adding fruit, honey, flavoured yogurt, nuts etc
Below is a natural yogurt mix served with fresh berries and a mix made with toffee yogurt with sliced banana on top so kind of a banoffee style breakfast :)
