Spicy Sausage pasta

An easy but delicious meal for the whole family, this is lovely for this time of year.
The measurements below made for generous portions for 2 adults, a baby and a toddler. You could easily change the measurements to suit yourself.
6 pork sausages, cut into chunks
1 onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 red pepper, cut into chunks
1tsp mild chilli powder
carton of passata
tomato puree
250g pasta

Heat some oil in a frying pan and add the sausage chunks, fry until brown. Add the onion, garlic and pepper and cook until softened. Add passata, chilli powder and a squirt of tomato puree and stir together.. Bring to the boil and then turn down to a simmer. 
Put your pasta on to cook, once cooked drain the pasta and pour the sausages and sauce into the pan and mix together before serving.
