Easy chocolate chip cookies

Everyone loves a plate full of freshly baked cookies and these ones are super easy and have minimal ingredients perfect if you're like me and have no eggs in to make the more common recipes for them.
I used the Dr Oetker Madagascan Vanilla grinder that came in June's Degustabox but you could use 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract instead.

5 oz of softened butter
3 oz caster sugar
6 oz plain flour
generous sprinkle of vanilla
chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 180°
Cream together your butter and sugar in a large bowl. Then add the flour, vanilla and chocolate chips and mix until a dough has formed.
Make 12 small balls with the dough and place onto a lightly greased baking tray with room to spread. Flatten the balls slightly then bake in the oven for around 10 minutes(longer if you like them crunchier).

Lovely with a cup of tea or a glass of milk :)
