Banana and Blueberry Flapjacks

I picked up a punnet of blueberries at the weekend but when I opened them I found that half were going soft so I figured I would bake with them. I had run out of flour so muffins were out, so I made flapjacks instead. I don't make flapjacks often but I really should, these were lovely and easy to make!
Banana and blueberry flapjacks

40g butter
60g sugar
1tbsp golden syrup
2 mashed bananas
200g oats
A couple of handfuls of blueberries

Preheat the oven to 200° and line a baking tin with greaseproof paper. Melt the butter in a pan then add in the sugar and the golden syrup and stir together.  Peel and mash the bananas and then add them into the butter mixture. Add the oats and blueberries and combine.Spoon the mix into the lined baking tin and flatten down with the back of the spoon. Bake in the oven for around 15-20 minutes until golden on top. Leave to cool and cut into fingers or squares.
