Easy Double Chocolate Muffins

There must be thousands of double chocolate muffins recipes out there on the world wide web but it can't hurt to share another. This one is so easy that my boys make them with minimal input from me (apart from checking measurements) and they turn out really well.

To make 8 large muffins

200g plain flour
50g cocoa
100g caster sugar
3tsp baking powder
175ml semi skimmed milk
75ml vegetable oil
1 egg
100g chocolate chunks

Preheat your oven to 200°C and line your tin with muffin cases.

In a large mixing bowl mix your dry ingredients(make sure you put the chocolate chips in at this stage) and mix your wet ingredients in a seperate bowl. Then combine them together and mix lightly, the batter should be a bit lumpy for muffins. Fill your muffin cases around 3/4 of the way, and pop into the oven for around 10 minutes before turning the oven down slightly (180°C) and bake for another 10 minutes until cooked through.

Allow to cool and eat!
