If you haven’t heard of Degustabox before, it is a monthly food and drink subscription box containing items from both well loved and exciting new brands so you can discover delicious new flavours each month. We have been lucky enough to have been reviewing these boxes for over a year now, and i genuinely love them especially as each month the contents are a total surprise until you open the box, plus i find the delivery service is excellent so no worries about my box going missing or getting damaged. You can see my thoughts on previous boxes and some recipes I have made with products received in the boxes here. This month's box was pretty darn awesome, every product appealed to us and as the total value was well over £20 Degustabox is continuing to be a great subscription box.
Jack Daniels Honey Barbecue Glaze I was really excited to find this in my this month's box. Infused with the taste of Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey Liqueur this glaze can be used on chicken wings, ribs or as a dip. We have had it with some sausages and will be trying it with leftover pork this week. Yum!
Garofalo Fusilli Bucati pasta This corkscrew shaped pasta is just one of the shapes available from the Garofalo brand. Made from 100% duram week this pasta is lovely, we all really enjoyed it with a creamy sauce.
Beloved Dates Date Nectar This is a totally new brand and product to me. Made from 100% pure dates the nectar is gluten wheat and dairy free. It can be used in many ways from baking or with pancakes, we have been trying it on porridge as an alternative to honey or golden syrup.
Brioche Pasquier Croissants These dissappeared very quickly! Brioche Pasquier has become one of my go to brands since first trying them in a Degustabox quite a while ago now. They are consistently lovely products and these croissants are no different. We had them cold with berries and warm with a little sneaky Nutella in the middle.
The Wonderful Co. Pomegreat Grown in Californian orchards and harvested when deep ruby red the pomegranates in this juice are bursting with flavour. I had never tried pomegranate juice before but it was delicious and a nice change fro my he usual juices available.
Mrs Crimbles Madelines Another product which didn't last long in this house, these Madelines are gluten free and come individually wrapped for freshness. We received the yummy vanilla flavour and they also come in a chocolate flavour too.
Wonderful Pistachios and Almonds Sun ripened in californian orchards the delicious nuts can be used in cooking or if you're like me simply snack on them.
Get Fruity Fruity Bar This award winning fruit and oat bar is 100% natural. It is made with gluten free oats, virgin coconut oil and contains no added refined sugars. I like these kinds of bars as an easy on the go snack for the boys and I let them share this one. It was gone I a couple of seconds, they loved it, I would be interested in trying out the other 5 flavours available.
Kallo Yogurt Coated Rice Cakes and Milk Chocolate Corn Cakes I am already a massive fan of the Kallo brand so was excited to try these products as were the boys. I enjoyed the chocolate corn cakes while Sebastian loved the yogurt coated rice cakes. We will definitely be buying them again.
Cranes Cider Long sunny days scream out for fruity ciders and these ones from Cranes are perfect, I particularly enjoyed the Strawberry and Kiwi flavour. The cider is high in juice, low in calories and has little added sugar.
Pech-Keks Misfortune Cookies Fortune cookies with a difference, these cookies are black and contain honest if a little pessimistic fortunes inside. I absolutely love these fortune cookies, such a fun idea and they would be great when having good friends over. They taste good too!
As I mentioned at the beginning of my post you can receive a whopping £6 off your first box, simply sign up at Degustabox and use the code BLDEG15 for your discount.
