If you haven’t heard of Degustabox before, let me give you a heads up. It is a monthly food and drink subscription box containing a number of items from both well loved and exciting new brands so you can discover fantastic new products and flavours each month. We have been lucky enough to have been reviewing these boxes for quite a while now, and i genuinely love them in particular as each month the contents are a total surprise until you open the box. I find the delivery service that Degustabox use is excellent so no worries about my box going missing or getting damaged in transit plus everything is well protected inside. I love my monthly chat with Kevin our delivery man! You can see my thoughts on previous boxes and some recipes I have made with products received in the boxes here.

On to the August box, this month it was mostly full of brand new products to me which I always love to see. As you can see below the box was very full!

August Degustabox 2016

Fentimans Sparkling Lime and Jasmine While Fentimans a brand I know(I adore their Rose Lemonade) I haven't tried this flavour before, Jasmine isn't an ingredient you often see included in a drink but this combination is really lovely and refreshing and very very fizzy! I also love the Fentimans packaging, the glass bottles and label design are just lovely.

Clipper Lime and Ginger Green Tea. I have never been a huge fan of plain green tea so I love that there are so many flavoured versions out there now as it makes it far more palatable for me. This Lime and Ginger flavour is great for sipping and of course Clipper is a brand known for being ethical.

Dorset Cereals Bircher Muesli Bircher muesli originates in Switzerland and it is made by soaking oats overnight in juice and yogurt and this has become really popular here in the last couple of years. Dorset Cereals have simplified things with their delicious fruity mixes which can be soaked for as little as 30 minutes for a creamy muesli. Sebastian is a huge lover of muesli and has been enjoying this for his breakfast recentlywith the addition of fresh berries.

Mahou Cinco Estrellas An international premium lager from Madrid with a 126 year history.  I gave this to my chief lager tester Phil and he enjoyed it very much.

Tabasco Sweet and Sticky Barbecue Sauce A mild sauce enhanced by the rich and smoky flavour of Tabasco Chipotle Sauce. I am really looking forward to using this for pulled pork in the slow cooker,

Geeta's Curry Pastes and Premium Mango Chutney We love a curry so trying out new(to us) brands always appeals. The mango chutney has gone down so well in this house, it has a bit of tang to it and is lovely with poppadoms. I am excited to try the curry pastes as they sound delicious so I will definitely share on social media when I do.

NutriPot Moroccan Couscous and Aromatic Thai Noodles
As a busy mum I admit that my lunch often consists of the boys leftovers or whatever I can grab from the cupboard quickly, so the idea of a quick healthy lunch pot really appealed to me. NutriPot promise to deliver 50% of your daily vitamins and minerals and you have to do is add boiling water. Now i like the idea of them but I wasn't overly keen on these I found that they were a bit mushy and the taste wasn't for me.

Get More Multivitamins A refreshing way to top up your vitamins, this drink is available is 6 flavours.  We tried the lemon and lime flavour and I enjoyed the taste and like the idea that I am getting good some vitamins via a drink.

Capsicana Chilli and Coconut Brazilian Cook Sauce Capsicana make Latin American inspired cooking sauces. The chilli and coconut sauce is hot so I am having this for an evening where I am not cooking for the children.

Rakusens Snackers These plain and gluten free Snackers are less than 1% fat and each cracker contains only 7 calories so you can snack away guilt free.  They are lovely plain and even nicer with a little bit of soft cheese on top.

Oloves A great snack, the tastiest olives seasoned with chilli, garlic and oregano, low in calories and full of goodness. The boys have never tried olives before so I gave them these and they loved them.

The August Degustabox was full of brand new brands and products to me which is why I love Degustabox, discovering new brands is always exciting and I will definitely be purchasing some of these items again.
