Five things under £5 October 2016

After missing last month, i am back joining in with Rainbeaubelles fab linky(only a week late!). Here are my Five things under £5 October 2016 edition.

My buys this month definitely reflect the time of year, I love the autumn so much and Halloween is also Alexs birthday and marks the start of a couple of months of birthdays and of course Christmas.
We have masses of conkers collected from recent walks as well as using them for painting, I decided to pop some in a jar as an autumn decoration, I saw these rose gold ball fairy lights in Poundland and thought they would look lovely in with the conkers. The jar looks sweet lit up in the evening.

It isn't Autumn without candles burning to make the house feel cosy on dark evenings. Primark are doing some amazing ones these days, I love these plum scented candles which are just £1. For that price they give a pretty good scent throw too.

Primark plum candle,

Halloween is becoming bigger here each year, I must admit I did get excited when  I had a Halloween baby about all the future fun that we could have and i find myself browsing the decorations available. I could not resist this glittery pumpkin in Asda, for just £1, it will look lovely added to our real pumpkins when we go and pick them in a week or so.

Alongside the decorations in the shops is the Halloween food. M&S have a fun range including these popping candy chocolates and savoury snacks. Priced at £2 a pack (and on 3 for 2) these are our snack of choice while watching some Halloween films.

Dream in technicolour postcard, Paperchase, rainbow

Finally I cannot resist buying postcards in Paperchase and I have quite a collection, this one is stuck to the boys magnetic board on their desk.

Why not pop over to Rainbeaubelle and check out what everyone else has been buying this month?
