Happy New Year everyone! It's time for the first meal plan of 2017. I am pretty proud that i managed to meal plan every single week last year even with a newborn and a 5 day stay in hospital. We didn't stick to every meal of every week of course but I am pleased that I managed a whole year of planning and I am sure it saved us a fortune. I am aiming to do the same again this year and I will be getting my recipe books out over the next couple of weeks for some inspiration.
We had a fab Christmas and still have loads of treat food left over in the cupboards plus turkey in the freezer so we are well stocked at the moment. This week is a funny one as Phil goes back to work on Tuesday for 2 nights and then he is off again until next week. His shifts have just fallen strangely this year but it means more time for us to have fun together.

Thursday Ikea meatballs in sauce with creamy mash
Friday Chicken fajitas with homemade sweet potato fries
Saturday Butter Chicken with rice
