Teeth are a hot topic in this house at the moment. Sebastian has just started to lose his baby teeth and Barney has recently had his first tooth come through. Jack N Jill recently sent us a lovely box of their products for Barney to put to the test with his new tooth.
Jack N Jill is natural toothpaste brand made in Australia. As well as toothpaste they also produce a whole range of dental products for children. We received a beautifully packaged gift set and also a silicone toothbrush to try.
Firstly I really want to talk about Jack N Jill natural toothpaste. Trusted by parents since 1949 this toothpaste contains organic candula to soothe sore gums. It is available in 5 organic fruit flavours (banana, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant) or a flavour free variety and is safe if swallowed. It is also free of fluoride, sls, sugar and colour, it is even gluten free! Barney tried the banana flavour and it smelt so good, the paste is clear and you just need a small amount. I always think that mint is a harsh flavour for young children and Seb and Alex have never been fans of minty toothpaste so it is nice to find an alternative. I love how natural the toothpaste is and that you can even recycle the toothpaste packaging. This is a product that I really love and will be repurchasing.
We received a variety of the brands toothbrushes. The stage 1 silicone finger brush which is perfect to use for first teeth, Barney was happy for me to use this on his little tooth. We also were sent a stage 2 silicone toothbrush with a clever safety shield which we haven't tried as yet. Both of these are 100% medical grade silicone and can be sterilised. They are BPA, PVC and Phthalate free. There is also a stage 3 brush available for older children.
We also received a bio toothbrush. This toothbrush is made of cornnstarch with an ergonomic handle. The bristles are made of nylon and I have never felt anything so soft! Barney has been enjoying practicing brushing with this, it is so soft on his gums.
Also in the gift set was a cute handmade rinse cup to store our products. The cup is made from bamboo and rice husks and is biodegradable while still being strong. The final item we received was a super sweet sleepover bag to store your toothbrush and paste in for nights away.
I am really impressed with all of the products we were sent by Jack N Jill. I love how natural everything is, this makes such a refreshing change. You can find out more about Jack N Jill and purchase the range online.
