Simply Cook Review, Try it for £1!

I recently saw an advert for Simply Cook pop up on my Facebook feed and as a lover of subscription boxes (and food!) I decided to order myself one and give it a whirl.

Simply Cook is a recipe subscription box. They send you the spices and pastes for four recipes from around the globe (there are over fifty different meals) so you can create delicious meals at home adding between 4-6 fresh ingredients. Sometimes I feel that our regular meals can get a bit repetitive, I thought Simply Cook could spice things up a little without me needing to buy obscure ingredients that I may never use again.

I ordered my box using an offer where your first box is just £3. I was able to choose the recipes I fancied and the website easy to navigate. A few days later my Simply Cook parcel arrived! The box is letterbox sized so no need to wait in for delivery. Inside you receive four small boxes containing three pots with your ingredients. There is a recipe card for each dish with a handy pull off section listing the fresh ingredients you need.

We have tried two of the dishes from our box. The Chicken Katsu which we all loved and Nyonya which me and Alex enjoyed but Seb wasn't so keen on. I have found the recipe cards really easy to follow even with a toddler under my feet! I've enjoyed cooking meals that might otherwise have long lists of ingredients or would take too long from scratch. I also think it would be easy enough to substitute the fresh ingredients if necessary.

I am really looking forward to the other two receipes; Beef Rendang and Thai Basil Pork. We will definitely be ordering from Simply Cook again when I need to add some new flavours to our evening meals.

If you fancy trying a Simply Cook box, you can order one for only £1 using my referral code EL2682 which gives you a discount and me the chance for a free box.

*This box was ordered and paid for myself.*
